OK here is the situation i have. We have a need to run a tool from EMC called Environment Collection Appliance (ECA) this tool is a vSphere based appliance. Only problem is our environment is Virtual Center 2.5 and ESX 3.5. So they said it will work in VMware Player so i figured OK fine build a VM load player and i am in business. Nope not the case now i get the bellow error message when i try and start the ECA VM in player. It is complaining something about Intel VT extensions anyone know of a way to enable them to pass through the VM to the Player i tried to check the box but that did not work also tried selecting an different OS that was 32bit that did not work either.
